Tell us about your friend:Silky was born July 22nd 2001 and was a purebred broken lilac velveteen mini rex.I got her at four weeks old and had her for two weeks.Then on Thursday,August 30th 2001 the tradgety happened.It was a hot day and I was swimming in the pool,my sister was carrying Silky around in her arms(with NO harness!),my sister bent down to pick some grass for Silky near were the dog is tied and Silky hopped from her arms into the dog area and the dog chased her into the doghouse and bit her till death in the corner of the doghouse,as my sister screamed and just stood there and watched the dog I jumped out of the pool and ran to save the bunny it was to late Silky's lifeless body was there in the corner.My mom removed the dog and I did not wanna look afraid of seeing more of Silky's lifeless body.I did not get over this for weeks.And I don't like the dog as much as I used to.Soon Silky's Mom had a litter with a rabbit that looked soooo much like Silky as if Silky was trying to come back for another life,sadly Silky 2 as we named her was taken by owners who were irrisponsible and escaped from the hutch into the woods and was never seen again.Again Silky tried to come back in my rabbit Spice's litter of babies and she was sucessful. Right now Basil who looks exactly like Silky(her color her spots everything) lays as a helpless kit in Spice's nest.Born July 8th 2003 Basil seems like a keeper.I still miss Silky although she seems to be there with Basil!
